Palmetto Family is a 501c3 non-profit organization established and abiding by all state and federal laws. We submit our organization to financial audits and continue to abide by the highest legal and ethical standards in the solicitation and handling of donated funds. Our accounting practices and procedures are consistent with generally accepted principles (GAAP) and are overseen and reviewed by Palmetto Family Board Chairman Stephen D. Kirkland, CPA, CMC, CFC of Kirkland, Thomas, Watson and Dyches. We also contract with the Hobbs Group, an external auditing and accounting firm specializing in non-profit organizations.
