This past week, the US Congress passed the most pro-abortion legislation in the history of our country. With a party-line vote of 218-211 (1 Democrat voting against the Bill), the significance of the passage of the Women’s Health Protection Act cannot be lost on Christian Conservatives.
We cannot let the title of this terrible legislation misinform us on the sweeping detriment that it would do to the preborn in America. If there is any positive news, its that this bill will most likely not pass the Filibuster-proof 50-50 split US Senate. The blunt truth and stark reality is that the values and fabric that made our Country what it is are under direct assault.
There is Hope! Every time that the liberal left step on the gas driving our collective values of the cultural cliff, they clearly show us what they are up to. The lines are clearly being drawn. We must understand that the battle for our nation’s future is not being waged on political or partisan lines. The war for the soul of America is clearly a clash between good v. evil.
Now is the time for every Bible-believing child of God to rise to the occasion and stand on the firm foundation of Truth. America and South Carolina need men and women of courage, conviction, and faith who will take the light and love of Jesus to a world in desperate need of the hope only provided by the Gospel. When the Church of Satan claims that abortion on demand is a religious right, it is evident that we are not “wrestling with flesh and blood.” Satan is on the prowl, seeking whom he may devour. But greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world!
